The Latin Cultural Center Tiempo has been established in 1997. Since then we provided live Caribbean music and cultural exchange events with theme of the salsa rhythm in Japan. With more than 20 years of experience, we have a wide range of events including live, dance and national tours, workshops, seminars, art exhibitions and food-themed events.
We invited musicians and dancers from various countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United States, and Europe to introduce a variety of salsa rhythms and styles.
"Salsa is not bound to be a salsa", and we want to be phenomenon in the way of catching salsa for 22 years.
This is a festival where you can interact through salsa from various angles such as workshops, dance shows, live and art.
More than 10,000 students have passed through our classes, to whom we have transmitted this breadth and love throughout the Caribbean genre. This is reflected in the events that we make weekly where the community of Fukuoka in our parties that we call "Salson" to dance and have fun without differentiation.
This is a weekend where all the salsa-loving artists in Japan and abroad get together in Fukuoka. Let’s enjoy!

Independent, Visual Arts Professor; Plastic Arts Artist, Art Educator and Creator of Mosaics.
She studied at the National School of Fine Arts "Prilidiano Pueyrredón", Buenos Aires, Argentina. She worked for UNICEF in Africa in the area of art, culture and education. She was invited as the arts professor by NPO Tiempo Iberoamericano in Fukuoka, Japan. Actually she lives in Buenos Aires, working as a teacher in different places of the Federal Capital and dedicating herself to independent production.
Latin dancers, Agustina Veyra (Argentina) and Renyer Bacallao (Cuba), will explain the origins and evolution of salsa rhythms that has been over from Africa. It is lecture that you can deepen the knowledge about salsa.

Has an instructor license of classic and contemporary dance.

Cuban dancer graduated from the National School of Art (ENA) in the specialty of Contemporary Dance and Cuban Folk Dance.
One of the most complete dancers at this time in Cuba, has traveled to different parts of the world teaching not only Cuban folklore, but also Salsa, Son, Rueda de Casino, Reggaeton among other rhythms.
Former solo dancer of the Tropicana Cabaret in Cuba.
Former dancer of Conjunto Folclórico Nacional de Cuba.
Finalist of the prestigious television contest "Dancing in Cuba" in 2017 and choreographer of the 2018 edition.

"MIRAI HALL" is located in the 4th floor of the electric building where is in business zone of south Tenjin "Watanabe dori square". The hall where has flexible and functional space accommodates about 500 people and has newest equipments such as relaxed and high graded lobby space of about 380㎡, and the roof garden. You can dance in the wooden floor space. Also, the public wireless LAN is available in the lobby.

Daimyo is very convenient and lively area. Workshops and milongas are held in this venue.
TIEMPO HALL is our home, were we will hold all workshops and seminars, Wednesday & Thursday’s milongas and all After Milongas.
It has a great and cheap restaurant on the 5th floor and a fantastic terrace that also will held some of the activities.
